The Queen Mary: A Piece of Long Beach History
The Queen Mary - a true piece of Long Beach history - is a spectacular place to visit. Even if you’re not planning to stay overnight, this 90-year-old space has been an anchor of the city for decades, and it’s definitely worth exploring.
What is the Queen Mary?
The Queen Mary is a tourist attraction, hotel, museum and event venue - and it’s a ship. It’s permanently moored in Long Beach, where you can enjoy unique accommodations and explore attractions you won’t find elsewhere.
It’s packed with 346 staterooms, each with its own personality and charm. When you stay overnight, you’ll get an authentic look at what trans-Atlantic travel was like between the 1930s and the 1950s. While it currently serves as a full-service hotel, it also has award-winning restaurants, historical attractions and on-board shopping, as well. You can explore exhibits around the vessel to learn more about its history and board the deck, too.
