Long Beach Comic Con
This annual event, held at the Long Beach Convention Center, is a celebration of comic books and pop culture. You’ll find exhibitions, sales booths, guest signings and meet-and-greets with celebrities. It takes place on Saturday, September 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, September 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids get in free with a ticket-buying parent, and there’s a military and law enforcement discount, as well as senior citizen, teacher, and librarian discounts.

9th Annual LA Food Fest
Eat and drink all day at Santa Anita Park during LA’s favorite tasting event – the annual LA Food Fest. You’ll find more than 100 exhibitors, including celebrity chefs and the latest-and-greatest restaurants in the city. There will be beer gardens, tequila tasting and craft cocktail bars, too, as well as an ice cream social. General admission is $65 to get in at 3 p.m. To get in at 2 p.m. plus enjoy VIP hour, admission is $95.

Music Tastes Good, Vol. 3
Held at Marina Green Park on September 29 and September 30, 2018, Music Tastes Good is back for its third year for two days featuring more than 40 music performances, great food, and more. Headliners include:
